Using VB6 with Delcam Products Could not be easier 

OLEapp2000

The OLEapp2000 product contains additional controls allowing fast an easy interfacing with PowerMILL, PowerSHAPE and CopyCAD.

Three additional controls are installed, and are added to the Visual Basic toolbar, as shown below.  You can then simply add the relavent product to your form, and access the connection, and execution commands directly.

Installation

To make use of the new controls, simply follow the following steps.

First Time Use

1.    Click here to download the zip file containing the installation files for OLEapp2000.
2.    Unzip the file and run the 'setup.exe' program.
3.    Follow the on screen installation instructions.
4.    Now run Visual Basic 6 or later and open a new or existing project.
5.    Select,  PROJECT, COMPONENTS (or press CTRL-T).
6.    Click the Browse button, and double click the file '\dcam\product\oleapp2000\ocx\DELCAM_OLE.ocx'.
7.    You will see the title 'Delcam_OLE_Interfaces' added to the list of available controls.  Make sure it is checked, and click OK.
8.    The new controls will appear in the toolbar.

Subsequent Use

Once you have used the new controls, they will be registered by Windows NT, and can now be used at any time.
1.    Run Visual Basic 6 or later and open a new or existing project.
2.    Select, PROJECT, COMPONENTS (or press CTRL-T).
3.    From the list of controls, check the 'Delcam_OLE_Interfaces' control, and click OK.
4.    The new controls appear in the toolbar.

Additional Notes

After installation OLEapp2000, a number of Word documents are available to give you help on linking with Delcam products.  These can be accessed quickly from the START menus, by selecting:

START, PROGRAMS, DELCAM, OLEAPP2000, Delcam OXC Control User Notes
