The utilities you have written in Visual Basic can be published on our Utilities Depot pages. No matter how simple or complex they are, other users will benefit from them. You will be acknoweldged on the Utilities Depot pages also, so you will be credited for your own work.

To submit a utility for publishing, download the Word document below. Fill in the necessary details, and send us the completed Word document, the installation files for your utility, and the source code.

The following criteria must be met before your Power Solution plugin VB utilities will be included on the Utilities Depot pages.

1	The utility must be a useful addition to the Power Solution functionality, or provide useful automation or functionality to other people in the industry
2	The utility must be provided with an installation routine, and any special installation notes must be advised to us.
3	The system requirements to using your utility, e.g. PowerSHAPE Native NT, PowerSHAPE2495, Microsoft Excel, etc.
4	Comprehensive guidelines on using the utility must be provided, which should be included as part of the installation routine. This can either be a HTML document, readme.txt file, or ideally, an On-Line help file. But for simple utilities, a simple text readme.txt file will be sufficient.
5	The utility must be able to be run in English, without having to modify the source code. If your utility runs in your native language, you should either: Include an option to change the language while running the utility. Or at the very least, build a seperate .exe file, which contains the English translations. The hints and tips sections will shortly contain guidelines on how to build in multi language support, similar to that used in the ToolDatabase utility.
6	You must perform sufficient testing of your utility, to ensure its stability. Any problems you know of with your utility, must be disclosed, so that we can decide whether it is still OK to publish. If you have trouble avoiding these problems, you could send the source code, and we may be able to advise a solution for you to overcome them.
7	Your utility will be tested here at Delcam before it is published. If we find any serious problems, either with the running or installation, before we publish the utility we will contact you with details of any problem. These will need to be fixed before it will be published.
8	For checking purposes, you must also provide the Visual Basic source code when you submit your utility and before it will be published. However, please specify if you do not want the source code publishing alongside the executable on these web pages.
